FLOW-GENIX Swing Check Valve or tilting disc check valve is a check valve in which the disc, the movable part to block the flow, swings on a hinge or trunion, either onto the seat to block reverse flow, or off the seat to allow forward flow.

FLOW-GENIX Swing Check Valves are having Bolted cover, Swing type disc. Our special design feature provides a rugged construction, reliable operation, and long service life. These valves are used to prevent flow reversal in piping systems. Pressure sealed bonnet design is incorporated for high pressure applications for reliable sealing. They are suitable for service in horizontal piping runs. Swing Check Valves have low pressure drop and are best suited for moderate velocity applications. Correct sizing of swing check valves is important. Either too low a line velocity or too high a velocity can damage valve internals and shorten valve life.

FLOW-GENIX can be provided with an external dashpot arrangement to provide non-slam operation, ideal to prevent water hammer.
