FLOW-GENIX Pressure Reducing Valve can be defined as a self-acting automatic control valve for reducing a higher unregulated inlet pressure to a constant, reduced outlet pressure regardless of the fluctuations in the upstream water pressure.

The basic function of pressure-reducing valves is to reduce higher pressure into lower. They are commonly used in water, steam, and oil & gas industries.

Pressure Reducing Valve : FG-1015 (Liquid Services)

Automatically reduces a higher inlet pressure to a constant lower outlet pressure. The valve consists of a main valve and a FG-15 pressure reducing control pilot. Slight changes in downstream pressure acts on topside of control diaphragm causing main Valve to counteract pressure changes and hold a constant outlet pressure. The regulator will reduce the upstream pressure to a constant downstream pressure regardless of the change in flow rates or inlet pressure.
